CHALLENGES

The creation of a scenography dedicated to the winner's of the GPHG contest. Find a solution to showcasing their work and expertise.

STRATEGY

Working around the theme and techniques of watch-making conception, we proposed an  immersive implementation, evoking the plots and mysteries of tools and expertise thus a selection of over 70 watches is displayed on massive wooden plinths, showing the natural marks of wood-work , a metaphor of the watch-maker ornementation with "Guilloche".

The set of 10 display windows is set up in an arc enhanced by a light halo running through the windows and  reflecting the light inside the windows onto the floor.

Designed 24 modules equipped with 1344 LEDs connected by 500 soldering points and 1km of cabling, adapted an algorithm allowing them to program the 224 independent lit up paths randomly in order to project a veritable play of light on the modules. Through contemporary, abstract animations playing on the intensity, rhythm and different levels of light created tri-dimensional textures and effects, all enhanced by fleeting visual delights.
